Day one in a racing chair at the Front line to Start Line event on 26 July 2013!
And below is me at training at the Weir Archer Academy on the 20 January 2014!
This is me in my own chair at Invictus London trials! Explaining wheelchair racing to the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry!!
After an amazing summer in London through the Olympics and the Paralympics I decided that once I had my new wheelchair and could get my life back that I would.
Since then I have gone through the Paralympic Potential program and attended a GB Paratriathlon camp confirmation in August which was partially succesful. However as one door closes another seems to open on this journey and I am now provisionally classified as an SH1a athlete after attending the GB Shooting camp confirmation this September! I was also now training for wheelchair racing with the Weir Archer academy.
I now race in my spare time only and am focusing what limited energy I have on para-ice hockey with both the Womens GB and Europe elites teams, and also more regular training with the Cardiff Huskies. Having won bronze at the developmental world cup in May 2018 - I'm feeling hopeful about my future in the sport!
Equally if you feel you could support me please do get in touch and look at my page for more details as I would always like help - at the moment to afford my own equipment so I can train properly, be comfortable and be safe doing it!
